Language barriers are significantly impacting patient care and operational efficiency in primary and secondary care settings. Last year Pocketalk partnered up with Living Well Partnership to conduct a research paper with healthcare workers in the UK. Results have shown that more than a working week in time is lost every year overcoming communication challenges, adding unnecessary waiting time and affecting care delivery.
